Drawing bugs is really fun, after your children have finished drawing a dragonfly, why not have them draw a bee or draw a ladybug, we promise it will be easy.
What you need:
Start by drawing the dragonfly’s head. A simple circle or oval to start things off.
Next, draw an oval below the head. This will form the first part of the dragonfly’s body.
Finish off the body – draw a longer, slightly rounded shape for the body.
Add details to the head and body. Draw two lines for the eyes on the head and a few lines on the body.
Draw the first pair of wings (top).
And now the second pair of wings.
Draw a line on each wing.
Add more detail to the wings.
This one is optional: draw the legs.
Congratulations! You have learned how to draw a dragonfly. The last thing to do is color your dragonfly drawing.
