How to Draw a Hedgehog – Step by Step Drawing Tutorial

Start by drawing a small circle.

Then you will draw a straight line starting from the circle at the top and at the bottom. Add a slight curve.

Next, you will connect the curves.

Your hedgehog needs its body, so now you can start adding some spikes like the one below! These are called quills. Real hedgehog quills are made of keratin, which is the same stuff that makes up your fingernails and hair!

Add legs to the hedgehog’s body!

In total he will need four feet.

Step 8

You can add quills to the hedgehog’s body to make it look more realistic.

Step 9

This is the final step where you can go back and add any details you want to your hedgehog!

Step 10

Take the time to add color details to your hedgehog. You can use brown for the body and peach for the face.
