How to make handmade paper bags for school

What you need:

Step by step instructions

You can’t go wrong with this paper bag back to school craft! Students love it because it’s school themed. Add some fun food to complete the tutorial. Start by cutting out the template.

On a piece of light blue paper, trace around the bag pattern and cut it out. Glue them together.

Draw a rectangle on purple paper and cut it out.

Write your name on it and stick it to the front of the bag.

Start folding the pattern into a backpack shape.

Now is a great time to attach a name tag to the front of your backpack.

Start gluing everything together to make it an official paper backpack.

Cut two longer thin strips and one shorter thin strip from the yellow paper.

Glue the two longer strips to the back of the bag.

Look at this cute backpack!

Make sure you take the time to add both strips to your backpack.

Continue adding shorter strips to the top of the bag.

Now it looks like the backpack has a label.

Continue cutting a small rectangle.

This will be the tool to open and close the backpack.

The end result is this adorable backpack that you can stuff full of snacks. You can’t go wrong.
