Since every fairy needs a home of her own, we’ll show you How to Make a Cork Fairy House, a great project to recycle any corks you may already have.
We don’t paint our house, but you can make your fairy house stand out by painting it.

We love making houses for fairies, we made this fun fairy rock house and turned glass jars into fairy houses.
This great idea popped into our heads today while watching Peter Pan, so we’re excited to show you how to build this house.
If fairies aren’t your thing, you can build this little house for your little toys to live in, just like our little friend Polly.
What you need:
Let’s get started!
Use a plate and pencil to draw a circle on cardboard.
This is your circle.
Use scissors to cut out a circle.
Mark ¼ circle.
Use scissors to cut out ¼ of the circle.
Your shape should look like this.
Apply a little hot glue to one edge and form it into a cone shape.
Draw a circle on cardboard using a cone and a pencil…
Like this.
Cut a circle out of cardboard.
Use a knife to cut a circle on the cork.
And cut quite a few pieces.
The cork circle should look like this – not too flat and not too thick.
Start applying hot glue to the cone…
…and start adding cork circles around, …
…starting from bottom to top.
Cover the top with a cork ring.
Use a knife to cut a few corks in half.
Apply a little hot glue to a circular piece of cardboard and place the two cork halves around it.
Leave a gap for the door.
Apply a little hot glue to the cork and attach the roof.
Take three cork circles and add them as a rug in front of the cork house.
Done!
You can see Polly standing in front of this house.
He will live peacefully in this place.
Who did you put inside the house you built?
Please send us pictures so we can see how successful this project was for you.
