Print out our fun templates (you can get them at the end of this tutorial).
If you decided to print our black and white version, now is the time to color it.We use markers, but there are many other fun coloring supplies you can use to color (for example, we love using ink pads when coloring our origami bunny).
Once you’re done coloring, or if you printed out a pre-colored version, cut out the square origami paper.
Now for the folding part!Fold the origami paper in half diagonally, with the dog’s face on one side and the ears on the other.
Fold the pleats over to make them nice and crispy (you can do this yourself with a craft stick, we’ll run it over the pleats to make them crispier).
Now flip it over and you will see the line that forms the ear.Fold along that line, turning the ear part to the front.
Do the same with both ears. All that’s left to do is fold a little bit just below the dog’s mouth – there’s no rule about where to fold, you can fold a little higher or lower – this will give your origami dog’s face a unique shape. You can even make this origami dog stand on its own using the previous fold!Isn’t that great? We loved it and hope you make more of these.Get the Origami Dog Face Template Here
