We’re back with a super easy (and cute) paper craft for Halloween.
This black paper cat is not only cute but can also be used as a toy or decoration to hang anywhere in your home.

This would be a great Halloween classroom craft idea and you can make them in a variety of sizes. We’d love to see if you make a super tall cat to stand in the classroom. But for frugal hands, a cat made from small punched circles (we used a paper punch, the kids definitely love using those) would work just fine.

Punch a circle out of paper. We bought a pack of 500 black printer paper and couldn’t be happier.
The more circles the merrier.Take one of the circles and draw around it with a pencil (on a piece of black paper).
Draw another circle above that circle for the cat’s head. Draw two ears.
Cut out the body of the cat.
Next, cut two small triangles from pink paper and glue them to the ears.Cut out two cat eyes, glue them on the cat’s head and draw eyelids.Cut out a small pink nose and glue it onto the cat’s head.To make the cat stand, cut a small piece of all the circles – on one side. (it should be in the same place for all the circles). It is best to use one of the circles as a template to create the other circles.
Fold all circles in half, cutout should be facing down – fold straight through the center. You need to do the same with the cat’s body.Alternatively, you can cut the bottom of the circles after you have assembled the cat (which may be easier for younger crafters).
Apply glue to one half of the circle.Stick it on the cat’s body.Continue with the other circles.Continue until you are satisfied with the shape of your cat’s body.Flip it over and glue the circles to the back of the body.
Cut the tail shape out of black paper.Stick it to the body.
