And if your kids love to draw, we have an easy step-by-step guide on How to Draw a Ladybug Yourself.

Raise your hand if you love ladybugs! Raise your hand if you want to be a ladybug today with us!

You know that we adore ladybugs. You may have seen all the ladybugs we create here on Easy Peasy and Fun.

There are a lot of them, right? And we’re not done yet. There is much more to come.

So let’s get started!

How to make a ladybug box out of paper

What you need:

  • red cover
  • dark blue cardboard
  • light blue cardboard
  • white cardboard
  • black cardboard
  • drag
  • glue
  • The ruler is circular
  • round object (we used a jar lid)
  • black lining
  • pencil

Step-by-step instructions

Flower

Draw a circle on light blue cardstock.

Cut out the circle with scissors.

Paste the circle onto dark blue paper.

Use the largest circle of the ruler and draw some flower leaves around the light blue circle.

If you don’t have a ruler with circles, draw them by hand.

Cut out the flowers.

Outline the flower using black liner.

Body of ladybug

To make a ladybug, you need to draw this box pattern on red paper.

Below are the dimensions of the box.

Now cut out the red box.

Make some folds where the lines are.

Apply just a little glue to the flaps (we folded the rectangles in four so you can see them).

Assemble the box.

Now, if you’re giving the ladybug to someone, you can put some treats in the box – a surprise note is also a good idea.

We don’t put anything into ours; We just closed it.

Take a circular ruler and draw 20 small circles on black cardstock.

Cut out the circles.

Now use glue and place five dots on top, bottom, right and left.

Feet

Cut six thin black strips and round their corners with scissors.

Turn the ladybug onto its back and glue the legs to its bottom part as shown.

Antenna

On black cardstock, draw the head of a ladybug with two thin antennae.

Cut the head off.

Glue the head to the front part of the box.

Eyes

On white cardstock, draw two round eyes and a small round mouth.

Cut them out.

Glue the eyes and mouth onto the ladybug’s head.

Apply some glue to the bottom of the box and attach the ladybug to the flower.

Correct!

We are delighted to see ladybugs strolling or napping on the flowers.

Aren’t they adorable?

You can do as much as you like.

They will definitely bring you luck.

Have fun crafting!
