Christmas tree paper plate crafts

We love making little Christmas trees out of paper plates, to put on tables or hang from the ceiling, these thrifty little trees are fun for little hands.

To start, we have cone trees, which with a little help are perfect for toddlers and preschoolers to make! Let them draw, you make the cones, and let them decorate the little trees with age appropriate ornaments. For toddlers, you can use torn tissue paper and large tassels that they can easily dip in glue and stick to the tree, while older children can handle smaller decorations (small tassels, gems, yarn…).
