Pipe Cleaners and Paper Crab Craft

This toothpick and paper crab craft is a great project for summer.

This is easy to make and if you use some gravel and sprinkle it on the crab legs it will stand on its own. Pretty sweet right?

You may know Sebastian the crab from the cartoon The Little Mermaid. Today we watched this cartoon and came up with the idea of ​​making a craft with wobbler crab.

We really like crab projects because they are all so pretty. Crabs are really fun and this is a great summer craft.

This project doesn’t require much effort and is a lot of fun.

Make them in as many colors as you want.

How to make toothpick tubes and crab paper crafts

What you need:

  • red cardboard (or any other color)
  • 2 black pipe cleaners
  • hot glue
  • white cardboard
  • black pencil
  • rock
  • circular object
  • round hole punching machine
  • drag

Let’s get started!

Step by step instructions

Use a circular object and draw a circle on red cardboard.

Cut out a circle.

Punch two red circles.

Cut small triangles to form the claws.

Take a cleaning stick, cut 4 small pieces and 2 larger pieces as shown in the picture.

Draw two eyes.

Apply a little hot glue to the two smaller pieces of velvet and glue the eyes on.

Fold the large red circle in half.

Draw the mouth.

Glue the eyes to the body as shown.

Take the leg covers and glue them to the larger velvet sections.

Glue these pins inside the folded circle.

Add the remaining two pieces of velvet to make the legs.

Take the second cotton swab and fold it in half.

Twist this cotton swab around itself.

Glue the crab to the cotton stick.

Attach the cotton swab to the pebble.

Done!

Now make the crab wiggle and enjoy.
