Printable Alphabet Puzzles – Beginning Sounds (free printable version included)

Make starting learning fun with our printable Alphabet Puzzles. Each puzzle challenges children to match letters to pictures of objects and begins with the same sound, such as A for apple and B for bird. When they match sounds, they also build letter shapes, which helps them recognize letters.

This interactive activity helps children strengthen their phonics skills while enjoying the process of putting the ABC letters together. Black and white versions of these puzzles are also available as free printables.

Printer Friendly Version – Uppercase Letter Puzzle

A is for Apple: have children put together the capital letter A by joining and gluing individual puzzle pieces, turning a blank pattern into a complete letter to teach children the exciting world of A words.

Little ones can solve the capital B puzzle by pasting the images that start with the corresponding letter into the blank template, completing the letter and embarking on a high-flying literacy and learning adventure.

With each unique piece sized just right – there’s no confusion in sight! Little ones will love matching and pasting pictures that start with the letter C onto blank templates as they explore, learn and create their way through the alphabet.

Printer Friendly Version – Lowercase Puzzle

Have kids color the pictures, cut out the letters, and assemble the lowercase k into pictures that are the perfect size for little hands. Watch the blank template transform into a finished letter, making learning how to recognize ka an exciting adventure!

N is for nest, net, necklace, fingernail and narwhal: Kids can solve the lowercase letter n puzzle by matching and pasting adorable images onto the n pattern.
