You’ve probably watched a lot of animal documentaries, right?
What do you think about the animals there, are they cute, funny and interesting, do they make silly faces, smile and stick out their tongues?
Did you see that?
We have a small fluffy cat and a stuffed rabbit at home. They are an odd combination, but they get along very well.
While doing this project, why not start a fun conversation about animals with your child or students. What are some of your favorite animals? Why do you like them? Can you draw and color them?
Do you keep any of these at home?
The more questions the better!
Now how about making animal bookmarks? They’re cheap, easy, and fun!
Get your tools ready and let’s get started.
What you need:
Print the animals on white cardboard and cut them out as shown.
Using your colored pencils…
…and color all the animals. Crayons or markers will work just as well.
If you have a group of young children doing this project, we recommend having them color the images before cutting them out.
Put a little glue on the top of each paper clip and place the animal on.
Turn the paper animal upside down, then glue it to the back.
Wait for the glue to dry.
Finished!
Now, you probably have your favorite illustrated comic book somewhere in your house, right?
Let’s glue the animal paper clips we made today onto the pages or covers of our books.
That’s where all the animal paper clips are – on the storybooks.
It is their home, their zoo.
Happy coloring and stay tuned for more!
Have fun!
