How to Make a Printable Santa Claus Paper Puppet
What you need:
- our printable craft template (you can get it at the end of this tutorial)
- printer
- printing paper (regular or thicker printing paper)
- coloring materials
- drag
- glue
White glitter or white glitter glue option for added sparkle. Perfect for Christmas.

Print out the templates (you can get them at the end of the tutorial). You can print them on regular paper (easier to fold, great for kids) or thicker paper (a little harder to fold) which will be more durable.
Once printed, color the template, just fill in the middle part with the face.
Also, color the second page with accessories. There are two sets of accessories on one sheet of paper, making this version more paper-friendly for classroom crafts.
Cut hat and beard.
Fold along the dotted lines. Make sure all the folds are sharp. You can use a craft stick and run it over the fold to make it sharper.
Make sure you fold both the horizontal and vertical dashed lines. Unfold when you’re done.
Place face down on the table, fold back the “lid” part with the word glue.
Apply glue to the entire door.
Fold the other side into the “glue” edge, gluing them together.
Fold into an M shape along the dotted lines.
Wrinkle all the folds.
Fold the hat along the dotted line and apply glue to the white square.
