Silent Spring Printable Activity Pages Guide
Snail Puzzle
Let’s get learning started. Snails need their homes! But they are picky, as each snail wants a house of a specific shape. This fun learning activity will have children match the shapes (houses) to the shape outlines on the snail.
Counting leaves
Ask children to count the number of leaves on each stem and match them to the number of flowers.
Busy bees and the first sound combination
An apple starts with the letter A and is pronounced A! Match all the pictures to the letters on the honeycomb. Have your child say each word out loud before finding the starting letter.
Butterfly Color Matching
Know your colors! There are two versions of this color learning activity – one where kids will need to match colors to words (shown below) and one where the butterflies at the bottom are colored (perfect for kids who can’t read yet). You can also read the words to your kids.
Caterpillars have number senses
There are many ways you can display or write a specific number. These caterpillars will help your children gain some basic knowledge about numbers. Let your children explore tally marks, ten frames, numbers on dice as well as numbers written out in words.
Number order
Practice number order from 1 to 10 and find the hidden image behind these numbers.
