Ready to craft! We had some fun with paper plates again today, this time making a paper plate penguin craft. We wanted it to really pop and have a little wiggle to it so this is what we created.

Paper Plate Penguin Craft
What you need
- paper plate (one paper plate makes two penguins)
- glue or stapler depending on the age of the child
- drag
- black paint
- orange paint
- paint brush
- vibrating eye patch
First, cut the paper plate in half.
Roll into a cone and glue or staple together (staple is much faster of course).
And now the decorating fun begins. We started by painting the penguin’s wings and back black. We painted the beak orange and added two wiggle eye stickers. Easy peasy!
Now make a bunch of these paper plate penguins and let them wiggle around! You could even attach some yellow yarn to their heads and make them royal penguins (they look pretty cool, right?).
Since this project is quite economical, it is very suitable to do in the classroom.
