Row, row, row gently down the river… We have another paper craft idea to share with you and because we love doing it, we turned it into a 3D product.
This boat building craft is perfect for the classroom, as each student can build their own ship, decorate it however they see fit, and then assemble it into a beautiful wall display. Imagine a fleet of these ships!
Are you ready to make this paper craft? Let’s get started!
What you need
Of course these are the colors we used, you can use any color combination you want.
You will also need;
Make some waves from blue paper. If you have two shades of blue paper it will look even better.
Glue the wavy lines to the bottom of the white paper.
Cut a half circle from brown cardstock.
Stick it on the air.
Cut a long, thin strip of brown paper. Glue it to your card.
Let’s make a small flag out of red paper and stick it on top of the paper strip.
Now for the 3D part. Cut out the sail.
Fold in half at the top and bottom.
Apply glue to the folded edges and press the boat down firmly.
You just made a super simple paper boat!
