How to make a toilet paper roll bunny

What you need:

  • pencil
  • drag
  • glue
  • black marker
  • toilet paper roll
  • White paper
  • pink paper

Step-by-step instructions

You will need a roll of toilet paper to make a bunny. If you want to make shorter cute bunnies, you can also cut them in half, creating two bunnies in one roll.

Step 1

Start with the eyes. The simplest way is to just use a black marker and draw two black dots or use googly eyes or googly eye stickers.

If you don’t have sharp eyes, you can have your child cut two circles out of white paper and stick them on the toilet paper roll.

Step 2

Use a black marker to draw pupils inside the white paper circle to complete the eyes.

Step 4

From pink paper, have children cut a small triangle.

Apply glue to the back of the pink triangle and have them glue it under the eyes to make the bunny’s nose.

Step 3

Draw whiskers around the nose with a black marker.

Step 5

Below the nose, have your child draw a small mouth with a black marker.

Step 6

Have your child take a white sheet of paper and fold it in half.

Instruct them to draw an ear-like shape on folded paper and then cut along the lines.

Step 7

This will create two identical white bunny ears.

Step 8

Using the same process as before, have your child draw slightly smaller ear shapes on pink paper, cut them out, and then glue each pink ear onto a white ear for contrast.

Step 9

Apply glue to the inside of each ear and stick them on the top (inside) of the toilet paper roll.

Step 10

Make sure all glued parts are secure and let the rabbit dry if necessary.

Step 11

Once dry, your toilet roll bunny creation is complete!
