If you’re not really excited about the idea of using toilet paper rolls, you can use kitchen paper towel rolls instead. They are even more fun because their length allows for even more creative ideas.

How to make handmade toilet paper roll flowers

What you need:

pencil
drag
paper roll
paint (different colors)
paint brush

Step-by-step instructions

To start this project, you will need a roll of paper (toilet paper roll, kitchen tissue roll, or other).

Use your hands to press the roll down to flatten it.

Draw a flower shape with a pencil on a flat roll of paper.

The sketch needs to go all the way to the edges, with a good portion of the edge (the fold) intact.

Ask themed children to cut out the shape.

Check to see if the flower is intact. If your child cuts more than necessary and the flower doesn’t come out intact, you can always fix this with some tape.
