How to make an easy Halloween paper wreath
What you need:
- Paper of different colors
- drag
- glue
- optional googly eye patch
The basis of this garland is to make a paper ball using paper strips. From there, you can choose from different Halloween characters
Here are some instructions for creating specific characters;
Step-by-step instructions
To make a paper ball, you will need four paper strips of equal width and length. If you are making a spider, make number 6 because two will be used for the legs.
We made the strips by cutting a sheet of letter-sized paper along the shorter length, and they were about a thumb wide.
Align the four paper strips and fold them in half to create a crease in the middle. This will make the next steps easier.
Take the first strip of paper and apply glue to the fold.
Take the second one and stick it on (crease) at a right angle.
Add the remaining two at a 45° angle in the same way.
Let’s create loops. Holding both ends of the same strip of paper, apply glue to one end and hook them together. Hold it tightly for a while until the glue hardens.
Repeat with all other paper strips.
For the final step, press the paper ball down in the middle, this will help everything stick together easier.
All has been done! Your paper ball is ready to turn into a fun Halloween character.
And when you’ve got enough, string them together (just thread the string through the cracks in the ball) into an awesome Halloween confetti garland.
