  • pencil or black marker

How to draw a ghost step by step

Step 1

Start by drawing a curved shape (like an upside down U). This will be the top of the ghost’s head.

Step 2

Draw a hand – you can keep it simple by drawing a “U” shape or get more detailed.

Step 3

Let’s start with the body. Starting on the left side, draw a curve from the hand down.

Step 4

Now move to the right and draw another curve, ending above the first curve.

Step 5

Complete with a wavy “tail”.

Step 6

Now for the face. If you want your ghost to look happy, draw “normal” eyes and a “moon” shaped mouth. This way your ghost won’t look scary at all.

If you want a creepy ghost, fill in all of the eyes with black and draw a “moon” shape with the ends pointing down. You can even add a diagonal line above the eyes to make the ghost look angry. Creepy, right?

And that’s it, you’ve learned how to draw a ghost!
