Learn how to draw a turtle with instructions and printables

This is a super easy drawing tutorial that is perfect for classroom use.

What you need:

our printable template (you can get it at the end of this drawing tutorial)
paper
printer
black marker (or pencil, crayon,…)

Follow these step by step drawing instructions

Print out our guided drawing template (which you can find at the end of this guide) for kids to use.

Start by drawing an oval for the turtle’s shell.

Inside that oval draw another shape.

Draw the head and tail.

Next draw the legs (also known as fins), starting with the first pair and then drawing the next pair.

Now we will add some details to the shell.

Last but not least, draw the eyes and a few lines along the edge of the “inner” oval.
