Valentine’s Day Gift Wrapping Paper – Valentine’s Day Craft Ideas for Kids

What you need

  • Handmade foam board
  • Pink and red craft paint
  • Plain white wrapping paper
  • Paper plate
  • Paint brush (optional)
  • Superfine pink glitter (optional – if you don’t have glitter fobia)

Open the wrapping paper and pour a spoonful of pink and red paint onto the paper plate, then use a paintbrush or your fingertips to spread it evenly.

Cut out a few hearts from foam and press one side of the foam heart onto the red or pink paint (making sure the entire stamp is covered in paint (or paint the stamp with a paintbrush).

Carefully stamp the heart shape onto the paper, pressing each part of the heart shape evenly.

Carefully pull the bottom of the heart away to remove the foam heart. Repeat steps 2-4, stamping the heart shape in a corner pattern.

You can add some glitter to make the wrapping paper shiny.

Let dry or use a hair dryer to dry quickly. Cut paper and wrap gift.
