You will need two strips of black paper, one slightly wider than the other, both can be the same length.
You can fold the paper to mark the “cut” line.
Cut two strips of black paper.Apply glue to one end of the paper strip.Make a roll.Repeat with remaining strips of paper. Allow glue to dry.We often use clothespins to hold the paper in place while the glue dries.
Take the smaller roll of paper (penguin head shape) and glue two eyes on it.
Cut out a triangular beak shape from orange paper and glue it onto the head.
Cut a U shape from white paper (the U shape should be slightly thinner than the width of the body).Glue it to the body of the paper penguin.Stick the head to the body.
Cut a base (ice base) out of white cardstock.Cut penguin legs out of orange paper and glue them to the base. Finally glue the penguin to the base.
