It’s time to bring some color into your home and what better way to do it than by making a rainbow paper plate craft. This is a great craft to use up those leftover buttons (or those you can buy at the dollar store). This great craft is perfect for St. Patrick’s Day or spring crafts (and rainbow crafts in general).
##Rainbow Craft from Paper Plate
What you need
- Paper plate
- Cotton
- White card
- Pink, orange, yellow, green and blue buttons (can also use torn paper, pom poms or just colored paper)
- Drag
- Hot glue/hot glue gun
Cut a paper plate in half. Cut five 1″x8.5″ strips from white cardstock and glue one side to the bottom front of the paper plate. Carefully hot glue enough cotton balls to the front of the paper plate to fill the plate.
Sort the buttons and carefully glue all the pink buttons to the first strip of paper, all the orange buttons to the second strip of paper, all the yellow buttons to the third strip of paper, all the green buttons to the fourth strip of paper, and all the blue buttons to the fifth strip of paper.
You can also add some string to the back of the paper plate and hang this Paper Plate Rainbow Craft. It will twist and turn in all its beauty.
